Quotes

  • With every performance, I feel like I am growing up.
  • I am in love with Lysva; I need big cities for entertainment and inspiration.
  • One can do a lot in a small town. The most important thing is not where you are, but what you do.

My story

Lysva is my hometown: I was born here, went to kindergarten, school and music school and the department of theatrical art. Since childhood, my dream was to become an actress and work at the theater. Then I went to Perm to study in theatre team management. When I finished studying, I never thought that I would start working with children. It all started with a children's music school, in the theater at that time I worked part-time as an administrator only. From my first class, a story was born, which is now known as the creative association «Ljudi» (The People), it was in 2012.

«Ljudi» is a very big and important stage for me, and I hope that it is not over yet. Now it is the transition period: the older ones have already grown, and the younger ones are still growing up. In Lysva and in the region we are very well known, as we often participate in city events.

I always present myself not as a teacher, for example, no one needs to raise a hand to speak out, because we are definitely not at school. We really trust each other, we can sit down, talk and come to a collective decision. There is no teacher-student status, we are all on a par. Our work is a symbiosis, I know for sure that without children I couldn't invent anything. Thanks to the kids, I feel like I am still a 16 years old girl.

One of my graduates studies now in Yaroslavl as an actor, two girls have finished their studies and have returned to our theater, someone is just a hairdresser, but in the theater, and so the theatrical family goes on. It is not necessary for the youngsters to crave for the scene, the point is that they become successful people, it's nice to see how their eyes are glowing.

Given the population amount, there should be no theater or museum in Lysva. From 1993 to 2004, the theater was restored after a fire by our people en masse. The theater was revived thanks to the citizens, and now people are really proud of it.

My theatre story began with the question «Why not try it?» — and this state lasts for 10 years. I started my work in 2008, just then a very active festival activity began at the theater. In 2009, thanks to Yuri Muravitsky, I learned how to write a grant, how to think out a project, and began to live in the theater nearly. This work is not about «to force yourself,» but because it pulls me like a magnet.

I have acting and directing works, a children's studio, administrative duties, but I cannot decide and give preference to one thing, it is crucial for me to be in all these stories.

I know for sure that my parents will support me and never be aggrieved, that I have almost no time left for them. Mom always comes to all my performances, dad helps with props and transportation.

I absolutely haven't any manual skills, but I am not ashamed of it, because I can admit it. But in the performance it's the other way around, here I see the whole story.
